Jessie Lonergan holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Information Business Systems (IT). Jessie’s varied qualifications and skill set allow her to act strategically to apply her highly developed lateral and analytical problem-solving skills to achieve optimal outcomes for her clients. Jessie’s interest in IT extends to working with owners of tech-based companies, the division of crypto and digital assets, and the perpetuation of family domestic violence using technology.
Jessie has been a Non-Executive Director for a multi-million-dollar not-for-profit organisation. Jessie’s in–depth understanding of corporate structures and their assets allows her to provide clients with an insider’s knowledge and perspective. This experience, coupled with her legal knowledge allows her to work closely with business owners to pursue positive real-world solutions after separation.
Jessie deals with complex financial and parenting matters whether that be through mediation or in the Family Court of Western Australia. She works with and briefs barristers for trial. Before commencing at Leach Legal, Jessie worked at a boutique family law firm and worked extensively on high-risk matters.
Jessie treats her clients as individuals, not numbers. She approaches each matter with a fresh perspective, genuine warmth, and realism. Her ongoing goal is to efficiently work with her clients to resolve their matters while endeavouring to mitigate conflict between parties.
